This unique experience takes you to the summit of Pieter Both, the island’s second highest peak and one of its most spectacular viewpoints.

This carefully designed 4-hour expedition offers a streamlined and immersive summit experience for adventurous guests.

You will climb with a professional guide and a maximum of only two guests, ensuring:

The final section involves an exciting alpine-style climb using ropes and protection, giving you the feeling of a true mountaineering experience while remaining fully guided and secure.

What to bring?

  • Hiking shoes or sturdy sports shoes with good grip (footwear with smooth soles and open-toe shoes are not permitted),
  • A rain/ wind jacket (temperatures can be colder and windier at the summit)
  • Sun protection (cap, sunscreen, sunglasses)
  • A minimum of 1.5L of water (compulsory) and a light snack (e.g., cereal bars or fruits).
  • An optional unique outfit for a memorable summit photo on the famous Pieter Both rock (a dress, elegant outfit, or something fun and creative)

My first ever hike at Le Morne Brabant

Paj from Yanature was a wonderful and patient guide. It was my first trek ever and I could do it because he guided me at every step. He took us to most of the viewpoints on Le Morne Brabant and also taught us about the various plants and fauna on the way.
Great positive attitude and a v helpful guide!

Must do Waterfalls 💦

This is a must do in Mauritius! Most beautiful hike, with stunning vistas and gorgeous pools to swim in below the waterfalls. Paj was an excellent guide, had great knowledge of the fauna and flora and ensured our every (slippery) step was safe.

Great hike

Great guided tour with Rowin to the top of the mountain. Very insightful on hiking techniques and local history. Rowin was also great at chatting about life and day-to-day topic of Mauritius.
The hike is technically demanding but worth the effort. Recommend having good non slippery shoes and flexible shorts.
